A psychedelic adventure told through the eyes of Afta Hill. This Up-Tempo banger mirrors the fickle nature of reality under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms. Afta Hill connects his fleeting thoughts and ultimately goes through an ego-death at the end of the song. Layered background vocals make up a lush backdrop for the giant distorted 808. Afta's rapid-fire flow and writing style mirrors old school hip-hop, while his smooth and effortless melodies weave in and out of the pocket.
SAFAKASH (Afta's production alias) chops up music from Norman McLaren's 1949 film "Begone Dull Care". McLaren, a fellow Canadian, has a heavy influence on Afta's work. Afta creates his compositions with his synesthetic abilities.
